The critics bashed this movie almost immediately stating poor animation style, a lot of song change and an excessive amount of CGI make ‘The Rock’ look more muscular for his part as Maui. My big fear was the rumor that there was big changes in Tamatoa and his song. Wrong! This movie hit all the moments that made the original animated so beloved. Yes they made small changes but it was still Moana! I don’t know about anyone else but I’ve been disappointed in Disney and their remaking our favorite animated movies into live action. I don’t want my favorite stories changed, I want to see how you make my favorite scenes into real life instances!
If you loved the original Moana, you will enjoy this live action take on it!
